Updated - Trials Risk Assessments including Youth-3/6/2020
(These guidelines apply to England and IOM only)
Sent to all Centres (for England and IOM action only)
Good afternoon all,
Please find attached the revised Trials Risk Assessment that has been updated with your participation. I would be grateful if these documents could be forwarded to your trials clubs for their attention.
Permit applications can be sent to the Trials Secretary at ACU Head Office for practice sessions to be held from 8th June which may include Youth participation. In accordance with current UK Government advice, it is important children have as many chances to be as active as possible, so youth participation can now be included in Practice Permits. Existing youth guidelines apply for youth participation at a Practice event and accompanying parents/legal guardians should consider Social Distancing at all times. To minimise the number of people at an event, ideally youths should be accompanied by one parent / legal guardian which will help with overall Social Distancing. Should a rider fall, then the parent / legal guardian only should assist the rider.
